For more than 19 years, our senior partner Reuben S. F. Wong served as personal attorney to Mr. Harry Weinberg. Mr. Weinberg was well-known as one of the largest contributors to various charitable causes throughout Hawaii, and was listed among the top 50 of the wealthiest individuals in the United States. Upon Mr. Weinberg's passing in 1991, Mr. Wong established the foundation that would receive the bulk of Weinberg's assets. This organization has since donated literally hundreds of millions of dollars in the state of Hawaii. This experience in estate planning, wealth preservation, and business law makes Reuben S. F. Wong a leading attorney in his practice, and a graduate of what our firm lovingly refers to as the "School of Weinberg."
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Wong is a visible participant in the local Chinese community, including acting as the former President of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He is also a member of the Dai Doo Society, which was formed primarily to serve immigrants from China.
